The survey results are in and the numbers continue to demonstrate high interest that both individuals and business have for using the iPad as a business tool. Today I had the pleasure to meet and have lunch with Astronaut Steve Swanson along with a few Professors and students at FAU where he is an Alum. Steve was a great inspiration for the students and told some great Apollo 13 type stories as well as his thoughts on innovation in the Space program. For some IT readers this question may get your defenses up, for others it may be an acknowledgment of users perception due to the many business, policy and current PC deployment practices. Most desktop apps are designed with multiple Window Pane’s to organize data and make it consumable without forcing a users eyes to scan from one side of a monitor to another. In many cases these Pane sizes are discretionary for the developer or already user adjustable. Given that, why not make the Window Pane sizes easy to consume on a mobile device ?
