Federal investigators are looking into millions in taxpayer dollars steered to a nonprofit in Queens, N.Y. by Rep. Gregory Meeks (D-Queens). The National Endowment for the Humanities announced Thursday that it has given a $1 million federal grant to a nonprofit effort to digitize the country’s libraries. The YWCA of Metropolitan Chicago announced that it fired its CEO, Christine Bork, and has initiated a national executive search to replace her.
